1) Listed Prices and Price Quotes/Estimates
Prices listed on this website are subject to change without notice. Written Estimates are good for 15 days. An estimated not submitted in 15 days is subject to revision.
2) Electronic Files
It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain a back up copy of the original native working and final submitted computer files. Caboodle Printing Inc. is not responsible for accidental loss or damage or errors in supplied media. No promises can be made by Caboodle Printing Inc. to be able to work with your supplied files until they can be reviewed by our staff. Any additional file corrections or programming needed to repair the files for print readiness will be charged at our current rates. Corrected files will be returned to you to store. Caboodle Printing Inc. will not archive your files after your project is completed. Exact reprint orders need to be resubmitted as if new. Please keep a file of all your orders, repaired or otherwise.
3) Alterations & Corrections
Author’s alterations must be specified in writing. Any alterations will be charged at our current rates.
4) Proofs: .pdf and Actual Sample (Digital printing method only)
If your file is not originally submitted as a print ready pdf, a final pdf proof (final resolution based on file size) can be requested from Caboodle Printing Inc. chargeable at current rates. This does not apply when using our Design Ready feature. An actual hardcopy sample proof can also be requested, charged at current rates. On either type of proof, an electronic Proof Tag will be emailed to you This tag must be completed and replied to Caboodle Printing Inc. before we make any further revisions or proceed with your order. The electronic Proof Tag submitted to you needs to be checked:
• Approved, Okay as is.
• Further Corrections needed
The actual sample proof (if requested) is O.K., it does not need to be returned (we keep a duplicate). However, if further adjustments are needed, it must be returned. Please be sure to review all proofs completely and accurately.
Caboodle Printing Inc. will not be held responsible for errors if:
• Proofs request are waived
• The work is printed per the customers OK
• The request is made verbally and not made in writing.
• Design Ready Software is used
5) Color Proofing vs. Computer Screen appearance
Keep in mind that actual printing is in CMYK (the 4 color process of Magenta, Cyan, Yellow and Black inks) versus your computer screen of RGB (red, green and blue illuminated direct light), the reflected colors of print will often appear different from your computer screen. This and other conditions including paper color can have an effect on the final print colors. Variations are to be expected and considered acceptable. When in doubt, it is suggested that an actual sample proof be ordered.
6) Offset Printing Proofs
Proofs requested for Offset Printing orders (ink on paper) are digital representations of the process and NOT actual sample proofs of the final ink on paper production method of the printing press. Actual Pantone colors will be used when requested and often are not always achievable in a digital proof. Variations can also occur in color mix as well as density. These general trade methods are considered acceptable.
7) Payment Terms
All orders placed on this website are prepaid via Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Local orders (pick up only) can be paid via Check or Money Order. Prior customers of Caboodle Printing Inc. are excluded. Credit Terms available upon request.
8) Specification Accuracy
Quotations provided are based on the accuracy of the provided specifications. Caboodle Printing Inc. reserves the right to re-price the order after submission if the file or specifications do not match the specifications on which the original estimate was based.
9) Copyright Infringement and Liability
Caboodle Printing Inc. reserves the right to use its sole discretion to refuse to print anything it deems to be illegal or improper. Caboodle Printing Inc. is not liable for any damages resulting from unwitting violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trademarks, trade names or slogans. The party or client submitting the order to Caboodle Printing Inc. for printing or publication guarantees the legality of all submitted matter.
Orders cancelled may require compensation for incurred costs if the project has been started prior to cancellation. A minimum charge of $25.00 will be applied and can increase in cost up to total cost depending on the progress of the order and the time of cancellation (up to 1 hour after submission). Once an order is placed on our website for production, there is no refund, regardless of whether you placed the order yourself or had an employee of Caboodle Printing Inc. place the order for you. A minimum of $25.00 or more will apply (see section 4 for cancellation policy). Should an order be cancelled in an appropriate manner, Caboodle Printing will issue a credit memo (if applicable) for future orders for the remaining amount (if any) owed to the client. In no case will a refund be issued for anything except a future credit. Refunds and credits of any type are at the sole discretion of Caboodle Printing Inc.
Claims for defects, damages or shortages must be made by the customer in writing no later than 48 hours after delivery. If no such claim is made, Caboodle Printing Inc. and the customer will understand that the order has been accepted and satisfactory.
Postage cannot be credited or refunded; the customer acknowledges that once the finished product leaves our facility, Caboodle Printing Inc. is not responsible for its delivery. Any claims for damage, failure to reach its destination or lateness of delivery cannot be guaranteed by Caboodle Printing Inc. and therefore not covered.
Security Interest: The customer hereby grants and Caboodle Printing Inc. retains a security interest in any work produced by us until such time that the order is paid in full. In the event of a credit or chargeback, Caboodle Printing Inc. reserves the right to pursue from the customer or company for whom the work was performed.
13) Disputes & Venue
For legal purposes, the venue for any dispute shall be Erie County, New York.
14) Right to Subcontract
Caboodle Printing Inc. reserves the right to assign any portion of the work to another contractor.
15) Workmanship Guarantee
Due to the nature of printing, variations in color, size and finish can occur. Caboodle Printing Inc. will make efforts to provide high quality printing of your project and quality disputes will be reviewed on an individual basis. Certain trade standards apply.
16) Turnaround Times
Turnaround times are estimated and not guaranteed. File condition, work load and order complexity can affect delivery from your requested turn around time. Every attempt will be made to ship your order by its requested due date. Communicated rush fees may apply to complete your order by its requested date. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. Turnaround times do not include shipping time.
Orders that rush fees are charged for not shipped within the expedited date will be adjusted for normal rates but not refunded in full. Turn time begin when the file and order is submitted or when the proof (if requested) is approved.
There are no additional charges for over’s or credits for unders that fall within the standard Printing Trade practice of +/- 5%. For a guaranteed quantity, it is suggested that you order enough to allow for a possible shortage. Any discrepancy as to the quantity will be determined by using the shipping weight.
Delivery charges are not included. Caboodle Printing Inc. is not responsible for any delays or damage incurred due to shipping your product. Customers that refuse or unable to accept delivery (wrong address?) are not entitled to a refund. The customer agrees to allow Caboodle Printing Inc. to charge their credit card again for any additional shipping fees that occur on their behalf.
Caboodle Printing Inc. liability is limited to the final selling price to the client for any defective goods on the part of Caboodle Printing Inc. Any other liabilities; incidental, consequential or otherwise, including; lost profits or additional expense on the client’s behalf. Caboodle Printing Inc. warrants that its manufactured products meet industry standards and are free from any defects in workmanship. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE AND MERCHANTABILITY. Caboodle printing Inc. makes no other warranty and no actions or words of Caboodle Printing Inc., it officers, employees or agents shall constitute a warranty.
The client or customer represents that they have the legal right to produce all printed materials ordered from Caboodle Printing Inc. In the event that a “Claim” is made or commenced against Caboodle Printing Inc. based upon wrongful acts, copyright infringement, patent violations, proprietary rights, libelous, slanderous or defamatory content, the client or customer shall hold Caboodle Printing Inc. harmless from any damages, costs or expenses resulting from such Claim, including without limitation; (1.) defending Caboodle printing Inc. against any such claim. (2.) Paying any judgment or award against the customer and (3.) reimbursing Caboodle Printing Inc. for any legal fees and expenses it reasonably incurs in responding.
21) Privacy Statement
Caboodle Printing Inc. promises not to share any information collected from its customers. Credit card information is not stored unless requested by the customer.
Caboodle Printing Inc. reserves the right to use your product to showcase in advertising or promotional purposes.
22) Promotional Pricing/Discount Codes
Caboodle Printing Inc. may offer promotional or discount codes. If you receive a discount code, the code must be entered at the time of your order. If the code is not entered at this time, no refund will be given. The code will not be honored if it is used after the noted expiration date. Promotional discount codes are subject to change without notice and may be withdrawn at our discretion. Promotional codes will also be denied if the code was obtained and used fraudulently.
23) Proof of delivery
A Tracking number and signature verification will be used as proof of delivery.
Issues with damage or product delivery once successfully shipped from Caboodle Printing Inc. are to be handled with the appropriate shipping carrier.
24) Modifications to Terms and Conditions
Caboodle Printing Inc. reserves the right to modify, add or remove portions of these policies at any time. These changes will become effective immediately after they are posted, unless otherwise stated. The terms and conditions listed here are effective as of July 8, 2013.
